Program Guidelines

• One document per person each Wednesday.
• The offer applies only to the notarial act for one eligible document.
• Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID.
• Do not sign your document before meeting with the notary unless instructed to do so.
• Documents must be complete before notarization. Any required blank fields should be filled in before your appointment.
• Appointments are encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome when availability permits.

Background

Mims Notary Services launched Free Notary Wednesdays to reduce barriers to essential notarial services for residents and families in Saint Clair and surrounding communities. This program is part of our community outreach to support individuals who may need a one-time notarial act but face financial or transportation challenges. The program is funded and staffed by Mims Notary Services and is intended to provide reliable, accessible notarial support while following all applicable Pennsylvania laws and notarial best practices.

Free Notary Wednesdays – Program Disclaimer

Free Notary Wednesdays are offered by Charles Mims Jr Notary Services as a community service. This program provides one (1) eligible document notarization per person, every Wednesday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, at no charge for the notarial act.

The following terms apply:

• Limit one (1) document per person, per Wednesday.
• The signer must appear in person and present valid, government-issued identification as required by Pennsylvania law.
• All signers must be willing, aware, and competent to sign.
• Documents must be complete before notarization. Documents containing blank spaces that affect the notarial act may be refused.
• Do not sign your document before meeting with the notary unless instructed to do so.
• This offer applies only to eligible notarial acts permitted under Pennsylvania law.
• This offer does not include mobile travel fees, loan signings, apostille services, document preparation, legal advice, printing, shipping, courier services, or any other non-notarial services unless specifically stated.
• Charles Mims Jr Notary Services reserves the right to refuse a notarization when permitted or required by Pennsylvania law, including when identity cannot be satisfactorily established or the notarization cannot be lawfully performed.
• Services are subject to availability and may require an appointment.
• This community program may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
